A significant share of your responsibilities involves delving into assumptions and hypotheses, crafting innovative research plans, and developing approaches to validate these assumptions using diverse methodologies. You'll be instrumental in proposing efficient ways to collect and analyze information, optimizing its storage for better insights. Your sharp, accurate analysis of the data gathered will be crucial in developing meaningful insights that can be presented effectively for Ideation and Product Design purposes. As projects unfold, your coordination skills will be key, in managing external interviewers or research agencies, when internal resources fall short. You may also step into the role of an interviewer when needed. Beyond project-specific tasks, you'll play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining the Global Repository of Research Data (GRRD), ensuring a centralized, organized hub for valuable insights.
Your day-to-day activities will focus on planned work for big research project, with a duration of several weeks to several months, with topics that may cover a user’s experience during several weeks. There can be 2-3 projects running simultaneously, all at different stages. For example, one could be in the beginning phases, with a deep dive into the subject space, while another is at the active interview level. In parallel, a third project could be in the final report preparation stage.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is also key in your role, and you will frequently work with the Service Design team and end-users, as well as partners that we may need to involve research projects, and external stakeholders. The goal in doing so is to help foster a culture of continuous improvement at tb.lx.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
A background in psychology (ideally with a specialization in social and organizational or cognitive psychology);
Deep knowledge of behavioral research methods;
Deep knowledge of data analysis methods and tools (SPSS, etc.);
Experience in conducting complex behavioral research, including defining research objectives, plans, and methodologies (both qualitative and quantitative as well as mixed methods), the creation of scripts, and conducting of in-depth interviews and focus groups;
Experience in designing and developing surveys with further quantitative analysis to extract and measure user intentions, needs, and preferences;
Experience with creating actionable recommendations based on findings;
Experience working with and managing external partners and managing research projects with them;
The ability to recognize and interpret micro-emotions, micro body movements, and facial expressions, that interviewees display;
Proficiency in organizing data-driven insights and recommendations to go into management reports;
Proficiency in organizing repositories with findings, for internal knowledge sharing and analysis.
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience in conducting research on hardware products;
Experience in conducting research on software products;
Experience in conducting research on mixed H/SW products;
Experience in conducting research for complex services, including multiple HW/SW and Non-HW/SW related products.
